Media statements

In September 2025, the Judicial Commission resolved to publish a report received from an Investigation Panel dismissing three complaints made against the Honourable Justice Southwood arising out of a judgment in Lawler v Lawrie [2015] NTSC 19. On 10 November 2021 the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Selena Uibo provided a media release about the Judicial Commission starting work in the Northern Territory. The media release can be found here.
